Literally, Aids epidemic ruins Mozambique. Greatest threat to the development of the country, it affects some 12% of its 15- to 49-years-old population (according to the UNICEF). Despite their well-attested efficiency, antiretroviral treatments reach a tiny part of seropositive people in Africa. //// Face à la persistance de statistiques déroutantes en matière de Sida, il demeure nécessaire de chercher à saisir l'humanité de ce qui se dissimule derrière les chiffres. De substituer à l'horreur des images la complexité des liens entre souffrance, espoir et vie, lorsque la dignité même est mise à l'épreuve. Le Mozambique est littéralement ravagé par l'épidémie. Principale menace au développement du pays, elle touche quelques 12% de ses 15 à 49 ans (chiffres de l'UNICEF). Malgré l'efficacité attestée des antirétroviraux, une infime partie de la population du continent africain y a accès.
